PlayStation Plus’s free games for Sept. 2018 have been revealed. That means a more free games for subscribers, usually smaller gems and older blockbusters. Except next month, Destiny 2 is one of them.

Bungie’s first-person shooter RPG originally released last September, but its inclusion as a free title this month is noteworthy because of the massive Forsaken expansion set to release next week, on Sept. 4.

Destiny 2 got off to a somewhat tumultuous start last year, and Bungie has spent the better part of 2018 improving the game through a number of sandbox and quality of life updates, including yesterday’s giant 2.0 patch.

If you’ve never played Destiny 2, now’s the time to try it out. If you enjoy the base game, you can expect plenty of new content on the way with Forsaken.

There’s a bit of a catch, though—Forsaken, which is $40 on its own, also requires the first year’s Expansion Pass, which is $20. There’s also a bundle, called Destiny 2: Forsaken Legendary Collection, which includes year one content and Forsaken. So, basically, if you want to enjoy Forsaken, you’ll still need to drop $60 either way.

It’s still a good deal, though. That $60 contains the first two expansions—Curse of Osiris and Warmind—and Forsaken, which promises to be big. All of the expansions offer story missions, new gear, new PvP maps, Strikes, and new ways to have fun and level up.

If you’re looking to dabble in a classic, God of War III: Remastered is also free this month for PlayStation Plus users and fans of a more shaven Kratos.
