Destiny 2 update 1.1.4 is all about more speed and power for your Guardians. Map repetition for Crucible and Strikes no longer feature the same one back to back and weapons across the board have increased damage in PVE.
Bungie has been working diligently on the development roadmap for Destiny 2 and has finally brought changes with update 1.1.4.
Strikes
We’re finally getting unique rewards for Nightfall strikes and an increase of drop rates based on score thresholds. The better the score, the better your legendary weapon or exotic accessory will be. Strike repetition has been reduced, so you will no longer see the same strike back to back.
Exotics and Others
No longer will you receive back to back duplicate exotics from engrams as protective measures were put in place. The Prometheus Lens correctly appears in the exotic weapon collection if the player acquired it from Xur without owning Curse of Osiris.
Interaction time for patrol beacons and activity totems has been reduced from three seconds to one second and an issue was fixed where some emblems were not displaying what statistic was tracked.

Weapons
The biggest update here is that all damage has been increased for all PVE encounters, meaning you get to do more damage to those damage sucking bosses. This will help clear out areas or even keep areas more manageable when facing a lot of enemies.
Abilities
Our Guardians are getting a little help as well. Super regeneration rate has been increased to five minutes as apposed to the almost seven-minute recharge rate. More supers in less time is always good. Melee supers are getting an increase of movement speed, so those panic fist Titans can smash faster.
Crucible
The weekly featured playlist will rotate among Rumble, Mayhem, and Iron Banner. Incomplete matches in competitive crucible will now result in a warning or temporary 30-minute suspension from competitive and Osiris competitive playlists. Enabled repeat map protection for Quickplay, Competitive, and Iron Banner playlists.
Destiny 2 update 1.1.4 is huge, so take a look at the complete list of patch notes. While some of these changes are nice to see finally happen, some of these should’ve been in the game a long time ago.
