Fans expected to see the brand new Legendary and Epic variants of the Burst Assault Rifle in game on Tuesday, but an unspecified issue delayed the launch. Thankfully, all is clear now and the update is in the wild.

The star of 4.2 is the aforementioned new Burst Rifle, which does 32 or 33 damage depending on its rarity. Like other rifles it uses medium ammo, and has the same damage fall-off ranges. It looks to be modeled after the FAMAS rifle.

A brand new healing item has been added to the game, and we’ve heard that taking one of them a day can keep the doctor away. That’s right, apples are now in Fortnite. Apples can be found around certain trees throughout the map, and consuming one will grant five health, all the way up to 100.

One weapon that has seen numerous changes in this update is the Suppressed Submachine Gun. This much-maligned weapon has received a damage increase of three across the board, and a 25 percent buff in accuracy reset speed. However, it also has further damage fall-off range, now, too.

Traps have received a nerf in the update as well, with a pretty substantial damage nerf. Walking into spikes will now deal 75 damage instead of 125, and the reset time on traps has been decreased from six seconds to five.

In a back-end change, server trick rate has been increased from 20 to 30 updates per second. Epic says that this “allows for more responsive movement and shooting, and reduces effective ping times for all players.”

Check out all of the new changes for yourself right now in Fortnite, once the 4.2 update is downloaded and installed.
