Sony has just released a new trailer of God of War 4 titled as Story Trailer. The trailer shows new gameplay sequences and what this journey of Kratos is going to be. The surprise part is that the God of War Story Trailer confirms April 20, 2018 release date.
God of War 4 official release date has not be revealed, but it is rumored that the game will be officially landing on April 20, 2018. The date is confirmed according to Amazon listing. There is no screenshot or any box art added to the list. If the listed release date is accurate then in the fourth month this year the game will be out for PS4.
Sony has hinted that God of War 4 will not be a 2019 game, this assures the game will be a 2018 release. The update was shared by Chris Ashimine who was talking to a Japanese magazine. Also, the game will not have any kind of Season Pass, tweeted by Game Director Cory Barlog. God of War 4 will be unique, its gameplay has been modified to make it different from its previous editions. The new 2018 edition is a single-player only game that will feature the protagonist Kratos, along with this son Atreus. The game is set in Norse mythology environment with possible chances that players might visit Egyptian or Mayan Era also.
