Earlier this week, we reported on a rumor about a new heist coming to Grand Theft Auto Online. Well, wonder no more—it’s time for a caper.

Rockstar Games has confirmed that The Diamond Casino Heist is all set to go. It begins on Dec. 12, and there’s quite a bit of story behind it.

Despite the fact that patrons are enjoying what the casino has to offer, security has been bumped up lately. The Cheng Family Holdings Insiders have sent a number of cryptic text messages to penthouse owners, and there are some rather interesting blueprints that have come across Agatha Baker’s desk. Not to mention that the official website has hints that something big is about to happen.

Your job is to work alongside the Cheng family as you infiltrate the casino, with a number of set-up and prep missions to prepare you. Once you figure out what you want to do, you’ll choose from several paths, watching out for heightened security measures so you can reach the vault. However, keep an eye out for changing conditions that will force you to change your strategy on the fly. Sometimes “the best laid plans go sideways,” according to the publisher.

One big step is building up a front to put the heist in place. It’s a retro Arcade property, which will shroud “the nerve center within where Heist operations are staged and rehearsed.” Practice often here, because the real thing will put your skills to the test.

Gather your crew and get ready for the Diamond Casino Heist when it kicks off on Dec. 12.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, as part of Grand Theft Auto V.
