During the month of July, Grand Theft Auto V returned to be the best selling game on PlayStation Store, leading the way right a way of some of the most prolific titles out there on PS4, both in Europe and in North America.
Specifically, GTA V was the best selling title on EU and NA PlayStation Store just ahead respectively of FIFA 18 and Rocket League. In both territories, No Man’s Sky managed to return in the chart and get to a pretty good position, considering it’s been out for a couple years now.
North America
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Rocket League
- No Man’s Sky
- FIFA 18
- Destiny 2
- Darksiders Warmastered Edition
- Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition
- Fallout 4
- Need for Speed
- Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition
Europe
- Grand Theft Auto V
- FIFA 18
- Rocket League
- No Man’s Sky
- The Crew 2
- F1 2017
- Gran Turismo Sport
- Gang Beasts
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2018
- Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition
It’s worth to note that GTA V returned to be the best selling game on PlayStation Store as soon as Rockstar Games issued another huge content update, introducing night club and sparking interest in gamers for the titles once again.
We’ll see whether this trend is coming to an end or it’ll be strong enough to keep sales up even when Red Dead Redemption 2 releases on PS4 and Xbox One.
