The release date for Nintendo’s upcoming mobile title, Mario Kart Tour, has been announced. The game will arrive on September 25.
Nintendo has revealed the release date for Mario Kart Tour.
Mario Kart Tour is Nintendo’s upcoming, new mobile title. It is based on the top-rated Mario Kart racing game franchise. A beta for the game was released a few months ago, yet no release date was officially announced at that time.
Tour functions as other Mario Kart games, except it is on the phone. You use the touchscreen of your phone to turn and move away from obstacles, but your kart is in constant motion. You can earn rewards and try to unlock more playable characters.
Today, Nintendo has officially revealed that the complete version of Mario Kart Tour will be available to everyone on September 25.

Nintendo also launched the official Mario Kart Tour Twitter account. The account shares a link that is supposed to give more information on pre-registration for the game. However, if you click on the link, it will send you to a webpage on the Nintendo website. The webpage appears to be the old pre-registration for the Beta; it thanks the reader for participating in the beta.

The webpage also claims that Mario Kart Tour will arrive in the summer, which isn’t true anymore, at least in North America. The last day of summer is September 23, meaning Mario Kart Tour is a fall game.
