Metal Gear Survive is not off to a great start at UK Chart-Track – the game debut at the 6th spot. It failed to beat UFC 3, Monster Hunter World, CoD: WWII, GTA V and FIFA 18.
In the United Kingdom, which is one of the most important markets on the gaming sales landscape and so quite indicative of how things are shaping up globally, it looks like Metal Gear Survive didn’t have an exciting debut last week.
Despite being released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, the latest survival action title from Konami has only reached the six place in the top ten, even behind Monster Hunter World (launched in January) and EA Sports UFC 3.
We never thought the game was going to rival on the long run with the likes of FIFA 18, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Call of Duty: WW2, which are in fact all in the first three positions, but a least the first week could’ve been better for it.
Let’s have a look at the complete top 10, also mentioning Metal Gear Survive only dropped on Thursday – so it’s been available for only four days when the chart was elaborated. The other new entry, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, was 37th.
- FIFA 18
- Grand Theft Auto 5
- Call of Duty: WW2
- Monster Hunter World
- EA Sports UFC 3
- Metal Gear Survive
- Shadow of the Colossus
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Assassin’s Creed Origins
