The Monster Hunter World: Iceborne beta is available for pre-load right now for PS Plus members. This first beta is exclusive to PS Plus members, but you do not need to own the base game to be able to play it. As such, if you have been curious about the game, this is an excellent time to check it out.

The beta will run from 3 am PDT/11am BST on Friday, June 21 until 3 am PDT/11am BST on Monday, June 24. Meanwhile, the second beta that will be open to all PlayStation 4 users will run from 3 am PDT/11am BST on Friday, June 28 until 3 am PDT/11am BST on Monday, July 1.
During the beta, you will be able to take part in three different quests, all set in the new area. These will include the Great Jadras hunt, the new wyvern Banbaro, and even the return of the Tigrex, a monster so fierce its name is a part tiger, part T-Rex.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne picks up after the ending of Monster Hunter: World. This massive expansion introduces the new master rank, as well as new features that will take your hunting farther than ever before — new quests, monsters, weapons, armor, story elements, action mechanics, and more!
You will need 6.48GB for the download, so you can download it today and then get ready to head out on the hunt tomorrow. The Iceborne expansion will supposedly double the size of the game, making it a fantastic slice of content for fans of the game. There will be a whole new area to explore, new weapons to use, new mechanics to explore and a full new fashion game to get to grips with.
