Is it possible to take to the court the day before general release?
Tomorrow sees the launch of 2K’s newest installment of their NBA franchise, NBA 2K20. Ever since it was first announced, fans of the series have been foaming at the mouth to get their consoles and PC’s fired up for some sweet B-Ball action. So much so in fact, that there have been rumors doing the rounds that you might be able to play the game a day early. But are they true? Can you get your copy of NBA 2K20 to run today, September 5th?
NBA 2K20: Can You Play It Early?
It seems that where there’s smoke, there might actually be fire, at least this time, but only if you live in the United States of America. If you’ve pre-ordered the digital copy of the game, you can now download it to your chosen weapon, but the servers won’t go live until midnight EDT. This does mean, however, that if you live on the West Coast, the game will be available for you to start enjoying at 9 pm on the 5th.
If you want a physical version of NBA 2K20, then Best Buy is promising that it will be selling copies before they close tonight and there is also rumor that Gamestop will be doing the same thing. The best thing you can do in this situation is to phone whichever store you have in your neighborhood and asking them if they’re going to be participating in this event.
As for the rest of us, well, we’re just going to have to wait. Or move to America within the next 12 hours.
