Niantic is celebrating Pokemon Go Fest by having Nidoran♂ appear more frequently, starting on July 4. Players can even capture Shiny Nidoran♂ during this event.
Nidoran♂ will start spawning more frequently during a new Pokémon Go event, with players getting the chance to capture a shiny Nidoran♂.
In celebration for Pokémon Go Fest Dortmund, Niantic will have Nidoran♂ appear more frequently in the game starting on July 4 at 10 AM CEST. Players also have the chance to encounter and capture Shiny Nidoran♂. This event occurs globally.
Nidoran♂ is a rodent-like Pokémon, who is a pure poison type. There are two types of Nidoran, a male and female. They both look quite different, with the male being purple and having larger ears.
Both versions of Nidoran are considered to be two separate Pokémon. They are part of the original 151 and arrived before all Pokémon had different genders.
The exclusive event is meant to kick off the Pokemon Go Fest celebration happening in Dortmund, Germany, on the same date. Previously, there was a Pokémon Go Fest Chicago 2019 last month from June 13 to June 16. Players who attended the event had the opportunity to take part in unique challenges and gain exclusive rewards. The Nidoran♂ Pokemon Go event will get other players involved, despite not being able to attend the event in Germany in person.
