Serebii revealed on their website that the Water Festival 2019 begins on Aug. 23, and lasts until the 28. During the event, water-type Pokémon spawns are going to increase and show up more frequently near areas of water. Water-type Pokémon will also appear in hatched eggs.

The Pokémon Kingler and Crawdaunt, which are both crab-based Pokémon, are going to know Crabhammer during the event. Shiny Carvanha and Barboach are also getting added to the game.

Lastly, there is going to be two-times the hatch candy and halved buddy candy with Buddy Pokémon that are water-type during the Festival.

You’ll be able to encounter Uxie, Mesprit, or Azelf in five-star raids again on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Uxie, Mesprit, or Azelf are the legendary lake trio from the Sinnoh region, the fourth generations of Pokémon games. They live within Sinnoh’s great lakes, and they are all pure psychic-types. The lake trio will be available from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time on Aug. 28.
