It’s been two years since the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, one of the most beloved titles out there.
While the game’s been loved by all the Nintendo fans and beyond, there’s, sure enough, the need of a follow-up, whether it’s a sequel or something completely different.
According to Game Informer editor Imran Khan, it looks like we won’t be required to wait for much longer in order to play another title from the franchise.
And, even more interestingly, we won’t even be given another non-sense co-op game in the style of Triforce Heroes.
“I was just thinking what I should say about that. The next Zelda will probably be sooner than we think…I will talk to you guys off camera about stuff,” he said in a podcast.
When asked if it is a game by the Triforce Heroes team and involves co-op, he commented, “Um, not exactly.”
So, there could seriously be some good news on the horizon for the series. Could it be a smaller project like A Link Between Worlds? I’d definitely love it.
