Hello Games revealed No Man’s Sky Xbox One version release window, it’s 2018. Also, the developer revealed that the next big update for No Man’s Sky will arrive in Summer 2018.
Hello Games has just announced that No Man’s Sky will be releasing in 2018 on Xbox One and Tencent’s We Game. On top of that, a new free update called NEXT is releasing this summer for PC and PlayStation 4.
The Xbox One version will support Xbox One X, being an “Xbox One X Enhanced” title from the very first moment, and 4K graphics with HDR. Its release ends the PS4 console exclusivity which has lasted around two years.
Talking about NEXT, the update will be the biggest thus far and will change the game similarly to what the other big updates – Foundation, Pathfinder and Atlas Rises – did introduce stuff like base building, farming, vehicular exploration, quests and a bit of online multiplayer.
The Xbox One version will come this year complete with all these updates, including NEXT, and will also be released in physical stores thanks to a partnership with the Italian publisher 505 Games.
For what matters the future of the game, after Atlas Rises released last year around summer, “we’ll continue to support No Man’s Sky in this way for the foreseeable future,” Hello Games’ Sean Murray said.
