Persona 5 Scramble

Persona 5 Strikers goes all-out in new gameplay trailer

The glorious footage gives an extra look at its combat system and setting.

The Persona 5 and Dynasty Warriors crossover title, Persona 5 Strikers, will finally be released globally in just over a month. To celebrate, developer Atlas has gifted those anxiously awaiting the hack-and-slack spin-off with the “All-Out Action” trailer.

In just one-minute, the thrilling, fast-paced footage highlights a number of attacks from the almighty Joker and the rest of The Phantom Thieves. In addition, it lends an idea at how the real-time combat will blend in with certain turn-based aspects from the original Persona 5, as video shows Joker periodically pausing combat to briskly switch between skillsets.

More intriguingly, viewers will also spot who among the cast is playable and why Japan is once again in ruins, despite the events from the JRPG sequel. Persona 5 Strikers will arrive on February 23, 2021 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
