Pokémon GO Community Day is back on June 16, and includes Larvitar as the exclusive Pokémon to catch. Additional bonuses include three times catch experience and three hour Lures.
Pokémon Community Day for May has come and gone. Trainers all over the world celebrated by catching the Fire type Charmander with three times stardust for each catch, three hour lures, and the shiny variant. If you evolved your Charmander to Charizard during the event, you were able to get the special move Burn Blast.
The Pokémon GO Community Day for June is going to be a tyrannical good time. Starting June 16, you will be able to catch the Dark and Rock type Larvitar along with its shiny variant as well.
The additional bonuses that will take place during this Pokémon Community Day are of course three hour lures and three times catch experience. This is a great time to use your Lucky Eggs to double that experience.
The shiny variant of Larvitar will also been seen during the event as well and will be easily identified due to its bright green color. Evolve your shiny Larvitar to a purple Pupitar and finally to a desert tan Tyanitar
Tyranitar will know a move that it normally doesn’t know during this Pokémon GO Community Event as well, but that has not been released yet. It is rumored that the move will be Smack Down. Once it is confirmed, we will be sure to update this as soon as it is announced. This Pokémon GO Community Event will surely bring the players out in droves. Here is hoping that the spawn rate for Larvitar is much better than Charmander’s. To find out what time it starts in your area, head over to the Pokémon GO Event page.
