Pokémon Go Fest Chicago just wrapped up after a weekend that attracted a whopping 21,000 Trainers in the windy city. Now that it’s over, Niantic is keeping the fun alive. Pokémon Go Fest Chicago just wrapped up after a weekend that attracted a whopping 21,000 Trainers in the windy city. Now that it’s over, Niantic is keeping the fun alive. If you weren’t able to make it out to the massive fan event, the party’s still going on with bonuses that will last throughout the week and into the weekend.

No matter where you’re at in the world, you’ll be able to rack up double the amount of Candy than usual from catching Pokémon and hatching eggs thanks to players completing the latest Global Challenge. You’ll also get a guaranteed Rare Candy during every raid. If you already have some eggs in your inventory waiting to hatch they’ll be good to go in half the distance, including the 7 km eggs that provide you with Alolan forms.

The biggest bonus comes in the form of Zapdos, who will be available in Raid Battles everywhere around the world for Zapdos Day on July 21. Be extra vigilant during the event, as you may even happen upon a Shiny Zapdos. The even kicks off at 11 AM PDT and lasts until 2 PM PDT.

There are more Pokémon Go challenges to come. The final leg of the Global Challenge takes place from Aug. 29 through Sep. 2 with the Safari Zone event in Japan. If everyone completes all tasks during that event, there will be an Ultra Bonus coming for everyone. There’s plenty to look forward to, no matter where in the world you are.
