You’ll be able to decide your Pokémon’s nature in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee

This is the first time that this has been implemented in a mainline Pokémon series.

In a recent episode of Nintendo Treehouse, The Pokémon Company revealed a brand-new feature for Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee that will change everything.

By paying 10,000 Pokecoins to a Hex Maniac in a Pokémon Centre, you’ll be able to choose options that will determine which natured Pokemon you will get in wild encounters for the rest of the day

This is the first time that a core RPG game has done this and could be huge for competitive battles if it continues to be a feature in future games. A Pokémon’s nature shifts how your Pokémon gains stats by leveling up. For instance, a Pokémon with a Lonely nature will gain attack stats more when leveling but will gain less defensive stats at the same time.

This means that you can get the perfect natured Pokémon that you want to help you win battle after battle. Until this feature was implemented, all you could do to get the perfect natured Pokémon was hope that you got lucky when you caught or hatched the pocket monster you were after.

In short, this changes everything.
