You might’ve noticed that Rage 2 and Far Cry New Dawn have a very, very similar art direction.

Both of them have indeed a lot of pink all over the box art and throughout the game, something that’s definitely not gone unobserved.

Taking advantage of the latest Far Cry coverage, with previous and a story trailer now out there, the official Rage 2 Twitter account has noted those similarities in public.

First, they posted the art you can see above, dubbing the game “Rage 2 Newer Dawn” with the hint at more gameplay coming next week.

Far Cry New Dawn offered a quick answer saying that Ubisoft is “glad you like our art,” and inviting to check their latest trailer.

Then, Rage 2 hilariously said “oh sweet, the game looks great!” with the notorious Spider-Man meme attached.

That’s rather unusual to see attacks like this between games, but it’s Rage 2 Twitter account’s style to have such bold communication.

Anyway, in a following post, the game invited to check “both” the titles upon release, so it’s apparently all fine.

Rage 2 is releasing in May, while Far Cry New Dawn is coming as early as February 15, 2019 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. In fact, it’s already gold.
