Just what are you going to need to be able to run Rockstar’s masterpiece Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC? Check out the minimum and recommended PC system requirements.
Hot on the heels of Rockstar’s epic announcement last week that Red Dead Redemption 2 is not only finally finding its way onto PC, but it will be here on November 5th, there is a rumor doing the rounds that the specs that you’ll need to be able to play this masterpiece have been leaked.
According to Nibel over on Twitter, the game will be 150GB instead of the 105GB that it was for its initial console release and with this news/rumour comes a picture that contains all you’ll allegedly need to know about just what sort of hardware you’re going to need to get your time in The Wild West up and running.
These are as follows:
RDR2 PC Minimum Specifications

If for whatever reason you’re PC doesn’t quite meet the recommended specifications then I suggest you either save a lot of money really quickly to upgrade your machine or hope that you can put up with a lower quality rendition of The Greatest Game Ever Made but in all honesty if you don’t experience Red Dead Redemption 2 in all its glory then you really will be missing out.
It’s also interesting to note that in the fine print on the picture, it says that you’ll need the Rockstar Launcher to be able to play Red Dead Redemption 2 so you can head on over to the Rockstar website via this link and download it for free.
