PlayStation Support Confirms Red Dead Redemption 2’s Download On PS4 Is 105 GB

AskPlayStation UK has confirmed via Twitter that Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4 is a 105 GB download. In addition to this, AskPlayStationUK clarifies that there is no official pre-load date and time for Red Dead Redemption 2 at the moment.

There has been a lot of confusion regarding the download size of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Microsoft seems to have sorted this out by providing an update on their Store, it’s approximately 88.57 GB. There are multiple reports that states Red Dead Redemption 2 will need 105 GB for installation on PlayStation 4. With no official clarification available, many took this figure as just the HDD space needed for Red Dead Redemption 2 installation and the actual download size is going to be a little less (something closer to the 88.57 GB needed on Xbox One).

PlayStation UK Support seems to have clear all the confusions. Speaking to a fan on Twitter, ASKPlayStationUK confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 download will be 105 GB on PlayStation 4. You guys can check out the conversation below.

In addition to this, AskPlayStationUK clarified that there is no official Pre-Load Date and Time announced for Red Dead Redemption 2. The date is shown at “[Library] > [Purchased] > [Red Dead Redemption 2] and push X on the countdown timer” is currently the pre-loading date, but it can change anytime as the decision maker is the publisher.

Hello! The date you see on your console when you go to [Library] > [Purchased] > [Red Dead Redemption 2] and push X on the countdown timer will be the date the preload begins. It might change, but that’s it there. Make sure your console is set up to do it! ^DB
