Sea of Thieves can be a veritable treasure trove of slippery situations, especially when you come across the dangerous giants, the Kraken and the Megalodon shark. What happens when the behemoths of the sea meet each other?

Redditor ClawofChaos was out playing around in the ocean with his friends, when suddenly he found himself smack dab in the middle of an attack by not one, but both of the game’s biggest monsters. 

All hell broke loose when both the Kraken and the Megalodon decided that pirates were on the menu. Just as ClawofChaos and his crew were preparing to open fire on the monsters ravaging their ship, something crazier happened. Both the Megalodon and the Kraken, always seen on the hunt for scurvy sea dogs, turned on each other. Lucky but horrifying. Totally rare and totally weird. 

The Redditor was quick to capture this moment of insanity, recording the monster brawl for all to see. At one moment, it appears as if the Kraken was “punching” the Megalodon with its enormous tentacle right in the face. ClawofChaos states that their pirate crew had just completed cleaning out a skull fort and were on their way back to an outpost when the madness broke out.

The Megalodon was added as part of The Hungering Deep expansion back in May. Originally the humongo shark could only be summoned by playing “The Song of the Deep” in certain areas with multiple crews. The big guy has since become a regular creature of the ocean, though a rarer sight.
