Nintendo has announced that Patch 1.2.0 for Super Smash Bros will go live next week. The update will impact recorded replays of players, they won’t be able to watch them after updating the game to version 1.2.0. To keep the recorded replays, players will have to convert them to videos.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Patch 1.2.0 will go live for all players at next week, as confirmed by Nintendo just a few minutes ago. What all new features and bug fix the patch will implement is still unknown. Nintendo just shared a note that the Patch 1.2.0 Changelog will go live along with the update.

The only thing that we know right now about the Patch 1.2.0 is that the replays players have recorded will be deleted after the patch goes live.
