Saber Interactive has released a new teaser trailer for World War Z, the video game taking after the books and movies and various other iterations of the classic. The trailer shows off impressive amounts of zombies in the Moscow harbor, which should leave players both excited and terrified.

There’s no doubt in my mind that if World War Z is to succeed, not only must it provide a proper coop experience akin to classic favorites like Left 4 Dead, but it must also provide appropriately large scale zombie battles. After all, what is World War Z if not giant herds of zombies rushing over everything in sight, not even pausing long enough to consume its prey – how rude.

The trailer shows off a few gameplay mechanics that we can assume will make it into World War Z when it gets released in the near future. A team of players are seen defending areas from an onrushing herd of zeds, and we also get a glimpse at some of the variety of zombies we’ll be facing.

While we don’t yet have a set release date for World War Z, the action teased in the trailer should tide us over until the next update from Saber Interactive, which we’ll be sure to bring you. World War Z will eventually be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC later in 2018.
