The Four Horsewomen are front and center in this year’s showcase mode and here are all the matches you can expect.
When it came out that Roman Reigns was going to be joined on the cover of WWE 2K20 by none other than Becky Lynch, hopes were high that she and the Women’s Revolution would feature predominantly in the game. It would be foolish of WWE not to ride that wave for as long and as far as they can. The fact is that Becky Lynch prints money.
Fortunately, you don’t get to be a billion-dollar organization without knowing a cash-cow when you see one. The executives have decided to go all-in this time around by making the Showcase Mode all about Lynch and the other members of The Four Horsewomen.
The Four Horsewomen Showcase
Since its inception, the Showcase Mode in 2K’s games has been one of the brightest things going. In the past, we’ve been able to play through the career of Stone Cold and Daniel Bryan. Now we get to follow The Four Horsewomen and their rise through the ranks. It will all start with the first-ever NXT Takeover from 2014 where Charlotte took on Natalya in what would be the jump-off point for The Women’s Revolution.
From here on you’ll be able to play through 15 matches in total, taking control of Charlotte, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Lynch, and reliving the most important moments of their careers. All of this culminates with the Wrestlemania 35 Main Event between Charlotte, Rousey, and Lynch for all the gold.
The full list of matches that you’ll be able to play are as follows:
NXT TakeOver – Charlotte Flair w/ Ric Flair v. Natalya w/Bret Hart
NXT TakeOver: Rival – Sasha Banks v. Charlotte Flair v. Bayley v. Becky Lynch
NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn – Bayley v. Sasha Banks
Night of Champions 2015 – Charlotte Flair w/Paige & Becky Lynch v. Nikki Bella w/Brie Bella & Alicia Fox
WrestleMania 32 – Charlotte Flair w/Ric Flair v. Becky Lynch v. Sasha Banks
RAW – Sasha Banks v. Charlotte w/Dana Brooke
Backlash – Becky Lynch v. Alexa Bliss v. Carmella v. Naomi v. Natalya v. Nikki Bella
Hell in a Cell – Charlotte Flair v. Sasha Banks
Elimination Chamber – Becky Lynch v. Mickie James
RAW – Bayley v. Charlotte Flair
Fastlane – Sasha Banks v. Nia Jax
WrestleMania 33 – Bayley v. Charlotte Flair v. Nia Jax v. Sasha Banks
WrestleMania 34 – Charlotte Flair v. Asuka
Evolution – Becky Lynch v. Charlotte Flair
WrestleMania 35 – Becky Lynch v. Charlotte Flair v. Ronda Rousey
There are quite a few slobber-knockers in amongst this list and I, for one, can’t wait to get my copy of WWE 2K20 and start laying down the law, Becky Lynch style. If you’re worried that Roman is getting short-changed here then don’t be because his career is in an exclusive Towers Mode.
