Another day, another card reveal for Hearthstone. Today, Omnislash unveiled the Zerek’s Cloning Gallery card during a Twitch livestream, a somewhat expensive legendary card that lets users summon a 1/1 copy of every minion in the player’s deck.

That’s right. Every. Single. Minion… In the player’s deck.

The card costs nine Mana Crystals to play during games, making it more of a late-game addition to Hearthstone. But in turn, Zerek’s Cloning Gallery doesn’t actually play every minion the player owns in their deck. As Zerek’s simply deploys quick copies and doesn’t use the player’s immediately available minions, players can use Zerek’s Cloning Gallery to either chip some damage or do some serious harm to opponents.

During the stream, Hearthstone caster Dan “Frodan” Chou praised the card, saying it was balanced for in-game use and had its pros and cons. Hearthstone player James “Firebat” Kostesich, on the other hand, considered it a relatively decent card thanks to its ability to create combos and provide a decent value, but didn’t necessarily call it “viable.” He stressed that the card needs more support for competitive play in the contemporary meta, in part because it works well with a strong minion deck but isn’t versatile enough against for various other player decks.

The Boomsday Project is the second expansion of the current Standard year, the Year of the Raven. It will add 135 new cards to the game, including new keywords like Magnetic. It is currently available to pre-order, with all the cards becoming available on Aug. 7.
